16-hour first aid course

The 16-hour first aid course is mandated by the Estonian Ministry of Social Affairs regulation 80 (14.12.2000) – there must be a first aid-trained employee at every office!

 
 

We teach you what first aid means and how to save the life of a person through simple CPR skills.

We cover the following topics:

CPR (for adults/ children) • Life-saving first aid • First aid for traumas • Airway obstruction (by a foreign object) • Stopping bleeding and dressing the wound • Shock and the shock position • The coma position • Handling an injured person • Closing and dressing wounds • Bone and joint injuries • Burns and chemical burns • Hypothermia • Hyperthermia • Dehydration • Allergies • Wounds • Seizures • Fainting • Burns • Stable position on one’s side • Pain • Shortness of breath

Road Administration and Labour Inspectorate approved certificate and study materials presented at completion of the course.
